Digital K6 selections available

Again and again Kommando 6 received requests for making the whole Kommando 6 catalogue available digitally. Now the closed vinyl label finally decided, that a selection from the Kommando 6 catalogue & archive will be made available digitally. It is only a selection, cause the K6 guys are still vinyl fetishists and therefore they keep on giving records the higher priority, but with the digital selection they try to accommodate the persisting requests of people who have no turntables (anymore) or who just prefer digital over vinyl.

Simulacron and Kommando 6 teamed up for this project: the concerned K6 artists selected the files and we at Simulacron take care for the further procedure. On June 30th the uploads were completed and the files are available from now on.

Venus Noir Compilation

In a few weeks a vinyl compilation called "Venus Noir" (Vol.1) will be out. The release is a collaboration between the label "Venus Noir" and Simulacron Network (who will take care for the digital distribution later on). The record will contain 4 melancholic electronic tracks, made by The Isolators (Düsseldorf, Germany), Nancy Fortune & Beta Evers (France/Germany), Private Entertainment (Moscow) and Black Spider Clan (Augsburg/Germany). Simulacron presents: Resistor Unit 1 compilation

After the Video DVD compilation "DARK SHOTS" in 2006 (SMC-VID01) and the CD "SHIBARI" of Manasyt & Beta Evers in 2007 (SMC-AUD02) follows now the first vinyl-release of Simulacron Network. It is a compilation with 6 tracks from 6 european artists. The compilation is called "Resistor Unit 1" (SMC-AUD01) and presents a variety of Electro and Electronics. It was compiled during 2007 with material involvement of all artists. The artists: Poladroid (Belgium), Li-Z (Holland), aratkiLo (France), PIE (Holland), Zwart Licht Kommando (Holland) and Dystronic (Germany). The 10inch vinyl can be bought at:

Manasyt & Beta Evers present "Shibari" (CD)

Out on 1.October is a special and limited CD-release by the label Bodyvolt in co-operation with Simulacron. It presents 6 tracks that Manasyt and Beta Evers (both Ex-Kommando 6) recently recorded together.

Addendum: "Shibari" CD is sold out since 1.March 2008. 4 tracks from this CD will be released on Bunker Records on 12" vinyl (Bunker 3078) in spring 2008.

Dark Shots - Kommando 6 Video DVD

5 years ago in September 2000, Kommando 6 was founded with the idea of building up a local electro network. One year later it became also a record-label that mainly featured local artists and producers. 19 records were released so far. 19 records with various styles of todays (dark) Electro Music. To the 5th anniversary of Kommando 6, Simulacron has produced a DVD, which contains 10 video clips, 2 live videos and 2 historical bonus clips. The DVD is available via our mailorder.
